Let’s talk about the consumption Tradition of pop and why you should try to quit! I get so many excuses when I bring Memorabilia up the subject. Speaking from experience, I drank pop for years!! I know what I’m talking about and how overwhelming the thought of quitting is……sounds impossible! After all, it releases dopamine in your body after you drink it (same thing that is released in the pleasure center of your brain when someone does cocaine), that’s why it is so hard to stop. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel lol.
First, let’s talk about negative effects from drinking pop. We all know pop is not good for you but what exactly does it effect? Pop has absolutely NO By nutritional value; it is useless! It may cause weight gain & obesity, diabetes, weakened bones, osteoporosis, cavities & prematurely decaying teeth, kidney damage, increased blood pressure, metallic syndrome risk factor, harmful effects on the liver, and dehydration. Most pop contains high levels of caffeine and unnatural toxins.

What can I do?
First of all, if you must drink pop, drink regular. Diet pop is SO much worse and actually causes people to gain more weight (and worsens your health) than drinking regular pop – there is NO benefit to drinking diet pop at all. If you drink many cans of pop a day, try to gradually cut back….remember, it is the same as being addicted to a drug so be kind to yourself and GRADUALLY lessen your intake. Every person is at a different journey in their life so you decide what is right for you.
When you are down to one can a day and ready to cut it out cold turkey, give this a try. Drink water with doterra Lemon and peppermint essential oils (DO NOT just use any essential oils – MOST you cannot ingest so please be careful). You should also put one drop of each oil in your palm, rub together, and cup your hands over your nose and breath deeply several times a a day. What this does is actually reset your brain receptors and also your taste buds.
Remember, your taste buds are not the ones screaming, “give me a pop”, it’s your brain. It is amazing how great this works….give it a try! You can give up pop, I did after drinking it my whole life…..
